FAQ

You've got questions, I've got answers. You'll find the answers to many of the most frequently asked questions below. If you can't find an answer to your question, please contact me.

Why is Shuffle RUFFles FRESH vs. FAST fashion?

Fast fashion is inexpensive mass produced clothing that has a huge impact on the environment because they aren't always sewn well and are discarded quickly. These items are often produced in countries with little worker protections or fair working laws for employees.

I call Shuffle RUFFles Fresh Fashion because I produce staples that last for a long time and are meant to become a permanent part of your pet's wardrobe and fashion routine so your initial investment will prove worthy over the extended lifespan.

HOW DO I CARE FOR SHUFFLE RUFFLES?
Shuffle RUFFles are not pet clothes for outdoor roughhousing, but when you need to launder your dog's custom wardrobe, follow these instructions.  To preserve the longevity of wear and color, spot clean only.  If your dog dresses for the dog park and gets dirty,  I highly recommend hand washing all items with a light detergent or rinse free wash. I recommend washing items in cold water to keep bleeding at a minimum.  Color Catcher sheets are awesome for an extra layer of protection!  Our handmade creations are to be laid flat or hung to dry. The cotton RUFFles will benefit from a light starch and iron.  Do not apply heat to satin, tulle, net or Velcro directly.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Each Shuffle RUFFle item is handmade in my home studio in Southwest Virginia unless otherwise stated.

DO YOU HAVE A BRICK AND MORTAR STORE?
No. Currently, Shuffle RUFFles is run from a private, home studio. Items can be purchased directly from the online shop.

WHEN ARE SHOP UPDATES?

I will add new creations as they are available. Shop updates are generally announced first on Instagram. You can follow me on Instagram @shuffleruffles

WHO MAKES YOUR ITEMS?
All RUFFles are cut, sewn, labeled, packaged and shipped by me in my home studio. Occasionally, I collaborate with other makers within the handmade community to produce special items.
